Doner Launches a Purr-fect Brand Campaign

By Editor, September 13th, 2011

We proudly introduce a full brand campaign for Cat’s Pride®, our first work for the premium cat litter company.  The campaign includes television, digital, print, trade show promotions, an iPad app for product sellers, and social media, all crafted by us to launch the client’s new product, Fresh & Light™.

This campaign is an excellent example of the integrated work we produce at Doner utilizing our creatives’ talents through Ecosystems, or as they’re known here, “Eco’s”.  Each are populated by creative staff capable of generating and producing ideas on all levels of modern communication and social activity, allowing Cat’s Pride® to establish a strong point of view, represented in every element of the product launch.

We were involved in all aspects of this campaign, starting with name development and package design, through the initial launch of trade show promotions, creative and point-of-purchase.  We plan to continue to help increase awareness of this innovative new product, and will oversee the brand’s social media.  The campaign also utilizes creative media buying,  including upcoming product integrations with major cable networks and publishing groups.

The revolutionary product, which is up to 25 percent lighter than traditional cat litters, begged for a creative campaign for the launch.  As you can see from the featured creative below, we took selling cat litter to a new, humorous direction.  The brand’s lightweight feature also makes it kinder on the environment.

Because of the unique clay blend that provides superior odor control and lightweight benefits, the tagline “Changing Litter For Good™” was chosen.

You can visit Cat’s Pride® facebook here.

Doner Goes Pink For Komen Carnival

By Editor, August 17th, 2011

As the advertising agency of the Northeast Ohio chapter of Susan G. Komen, Doner supports the non-profit with marketing efforts throughout the year. In addition, the employees within our Cleveland office have joined forces to make up a team that will participate in the 2011 Race for the Cure.  With a pledge goal of $15,000 the office has developed various fundraising events in order to help them reach this goal.  One of those events, the Komen Carnival and Bake Sale went off without a hitch this past Friday, Aug. 12.  The event was a huge success full of fun games and, of course, Komen’s signature color, PINK! The Carnival and Bake Sale helped Doner raise more than $1,500  for the cause.

The Burning River Roller Girls, Cleveland’s roller derby team, skated around during the event, adding to the excitement.  The Flower Clown was also a huge hit.  He made balloon animals for children and adults alike to enjoy.

Cleveland’s local news, NBC affiliate WKYC 3 and Fox 8, covered the event. Both sent reporters that produced news segments for the evening news.  In addition, Doner employee family members and neighboring business employees stopped by the Carnival to show their support.

As Komen Northeast Ohio Affiliate’s agency of record, Doner manages all of the collateral development and distribution for the organization’s annual Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure. In 2010, Doner created the “Twenty Ten Challenge” to encourage an increase in fundraising efforts of race participants. Throughout the partnership the success of Northeast Ohio Race for the Cure has grown in number of participants, fundraisers and money raised.
