New Creative For Wilson Gets Inside Fed’s Head

By Editor, January 17th, 2012

In conjunction with the 2012 Australian Open Grand Slam, Wilson has launched a new campaign that gives fans a chance to get inside Roger Federer’s head.

Doner created a collection of work that features Roger’s reflections on what motivates him in the game and his development as a player to capitalize on the buzz surrounding the world renowned player’s stake in 2012. The interview-style ads offer a candid look into Roger’s mindset as he embarks on the quest to win a Grand Slam this year.

Along with a television spot, Wilson’s Facebook page will feature longer videos of “Inside Fed’s Head.”

The campaign promotes the release of the Pro Staff Six.One racquets, which blend control and feel by using new Ampli-Feel and Wilson’s BLX technology.

The fun for Wilson’s couch campaign continues with tennis icon Venus Williams in the role of sports psychologist. In this latest spot for Wilson, Venus has a heart to heart with Katie about her power as a woman. Fans got to enjoy the spot first on Wilson’s Facebook page and now during the Australian Open. We’ve got our fingers crossed for Venus’ performance in Australia, but we couldn’t be happier with her performance in our spot. Check it out below.

Doner Launches First Work For Wilson Racquet Sports On Facebook Fan Page

By Editor, June 15th, 2010

Tennis king Roger Federer has an incredible feel for the game.

But who knew he had great comedic timing?

We did.

So we created a multimedia campaign to promote the new Wilson BLX racquets that puts Roger in the role of sports psychologist so anyone can have a better feel for the ball and better feel for the game.

The campaign goes live June 21 to coincide with Wimbledon. But the first spot is so funny that Wilson posted it on Roger’s Facebook fan page so his 3.5 million-plus fans could see it first.

It’s already drawn more than 11,500 thumbs-up likes and 1,350 overwhelmingly positive comments.

Check it out here www.facebook.com/Federer, become a fan and help cheer him on at Wimbledon next week.

Lastly, it’s no secret David and Rob are passionate and competitive tennis players, so the opportunity to work with Wilson and Roger has been an honor and a blast.
