Exciting News in our Media Department

I’m pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Ensroth to senior-VP, account leader. In addition to overseeing the media efforts for our Arby’s account this new role gives Mike responsibilities for the strategic leadership of the account.

Mike has distinguished himself as the go-to person on Arby’s and his role has expanded well beyond just leading the media efforts for the account. His traditional media-rich background enables him to play an active role in optimizing Arby’s traditional media platform, while continuing to diversify the brand into nontraditional media. A passion for sports and six year obsession with ABC’s LOST have fueled inspiration for Mike to help bring ideas to Arby’s that integrate a 360’ approach and more consumer interaction with the brand.

With his extreme dedication to his work, as well as helping his wife take care of their four year old daughter and 7 month old twin girls, I credit his ability to always keep his cool to his dry sense of humor.

Doner Staff Changes Represent Agency’s Commitment to Excellence

High-fives, victory clasps and elbow bumps. Celebratory gestures have evolved over the years with the fist bump being favored at today’s White House. As we start a new chapter here at Doner we’ve sharpened our focus on hiring and developing the best and brightest employees (sparking thumbs-ups throughout the agency). So we’re happy to welcome Michael Reneau, who joins us as senior VP, general manager, to lead our Canadian offices. We also promoted several people within our Brand Leadership and Media departments and we want to give a shout-out to Jessica Perry, VP, strategic planner; Jessica (Bejin) Tobin, VP, brand leader; Jennifer Quenville, senior VP, strategic leader; Alicia Lingenfelter, VP, associate media director and Suzanne Perry, digital media supervisor. Please give them a handshake (or your favorite friendly gesture) to congratulate them on their new posts.

A New Member of our Executive Management Team

Great marketing ideas begin with well articulated insights and come to life through commitment and passion.

With that in mind, we are pleased to announce that we have promoted Alison Taubman to the new position of executive VP-chief strategy officer. She will continue oversight of Doner’s strategic planning and research teams and remain a core member of our business development team.

We believe this promotion not only reflects our commitment to strategic planning and insights, but also in providing the opportunity for employees to reach their potential and share in the success they help to create. Alison has been with us since 1986 when she started as a research project manager. From that day, she’s demonstrated incredible levels of intelligence, dedication and intensity (not necessarily in that order).

Over her 23-year tenure, Alison’s contributions to the agency have been influential not only in the way we serve clients but also how we fundamentally operate. We are thrilled to have her as a member of our executive management team.

Among her career highlights, Alison developed the research protocols to support our proprietary Path2Purchase™ strategic process and she was one of the key developers of our integrated communications development. Alison also has been the lead strategist for our thought-leadership content, including our “The Art of the Possible” series and “What Has Worth and What’s Worthwhile.”
