Doner Celebrates The Holidays In Style!

By Editor, December 21st, 2011

To celebrate the holidays and as a thank you for a year’s worth of hard work, Doner treated employees to a Hollywood inspired holiday affair. The night was filled with bright lights, glamour and, of course, lots of tinsel!

Food, drinks and desserts were enjoyed throughout the evening while jazz standards filled the air and brought people onto the dance floor.

We welcomed all the guests who dressed as movie characters and celebrities to take the stage and compete for best dressed. Dave Wysocki won for funniest costume, dressed as Tom Cruise in “Risky Business.” Jake Thompson and Bob Beras tied for best lookalike.  Jake transformed himself into the Old Man from “Up” and Bob came as the Dude. Ken Spera and Mike Brooks won for best couple, dressed as “Pulp Fiction”.

Guests chatted, danced and posed for the paparazzi in the photo booth until it was time to leave the flashy lights of Hollywood behind.

The holiday party was a great way to celebrate the agency and the season.

Check out some photos from our Tinseltown event below.

Happy Holidays! See you in 2012.

We’ve Got Spirit!

By Editor, September 23rd, 2011

Employees showcased their sports team pride and tailgating finesse at our first annual September Dunkin Doner tailgate.  Along with bragging rights and the joy of inter-office competition, the winners Trisha Field, Gail Offen and Grant Hawkins won gift cards in honor of their Fandemonium.

The event included a competition amongst six employees to see who tailgates in best fashion.  Sarah Reading won with a “I’m Thinking Sparties” themed car.   The impressive spread included Arby’s Big Chill paraphernalia, cornhole and lots of State pride.  To congratulate her on a well-outfitted tailgate, Sarah was awarded a Coleman steel belt cooler, to further cement her awesome tailgating capabilities for future events.

In celebration of all things great about Michigan in the fall, we enjoyed craft beers from around the state with our chili and hot dogs.  All the bottle caps were donated to the Lingenfelter TableTop project making our Tailgate a green event.

No day of football would be complete without sports highlights and the ads (after all the greatest day of commercials is accompanied by a football game) so an outdoor flat screen TV showcased a compilation of our most recent creative work alongside clips of classic football moments.

A football toss competition completed the event.  Participants threw footballs through tires to test their quarterback capabilities, competing for a pair of tickets to see the Lions take on the Carolina Panthers. The winner was Daniel Councilor.

Enjoy some pictures from our Tailgate below.
