Doner Volunteers With Forgotten Harvest
By Editor, November 28th, 2011
In the spirit of giving back to the community, 100 Doner employees donated their time and packing abilities to Forgotten Harvest, a non-profit food rescue distributor, over the course of two days in the month of November.
Working in groups of 25 across four shifts, the teams repackaged crates of tomatoes into 5-lb. bags that were then distributed to Metro Detroit families. It was a really great opportunity for us to get the chance to be active participants in the battle against hunger!
